1. Covenant University

Covenant University is ranked as the best private university in Nigeria. 

It was established in 2002 and owned by a Christian church – the Living Faith Church.

The university enrols students for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The University was founded by Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in 2004, and named after the great man of God – Joseph Ayo Babalola.

4. Bowen University

It was established in 2005 by the Supra Diocesan Board(West) of the Church of Nigeria(Anglican Communion) and named after the late Samuel Ajayi Crowther – the first African Bishop who first translated the Bible into Yoruba.
